Sure, there are companies who will customize the color of your laptop, or build it for you, but if you are searching for the ultimate in customized chic, look no further than West Linn, Oregon. Computer Choppers, which started out as a hobby but soon gained international fame for their creations, will plate your laptop (and many other electronics) in precious metals and construct the logo out of gemstones. Their jawdroppingly gorgeous designs include a 24k Gold and sapphires MacBook Air – the entire laptop is plated in gold, and the rainbow-colored Apple logo is made of sapphires. Wow. But we are focusing on pink laptops here, and oh yes, they do that as well – using rose gold. Stunning beyond words, the color of their rose gold has to be seen; the best way I can describe it is a shiny, pale, dusty-coppery-pink. Their website showcases an iMac entirely plated in rose gold that makes you want to pick up the phone and put in an order right away.

The limited edition Lifebook P8010 from Fujitsu in what they call pink gold is simply stunningly beautiful. The color is just perfect, a shimmering metallic goldish pink with chrome hinges. At close to $3,000 it’s not cheap, but with built-in 3.5G capability, a 250GB hard drive, 2GB of RAM and a low voltage CPU (which means it won’t get very warm even when you use it for a long time) you get a lot for the money. And weighing only 2.8 lbs, it is one of the lightest pink laptops available.

Apple’s laptops are undoubtedly chic, but do they come in pink yet? No. I find it puzzling that a company which offers such a great product to such a devoted following of customers have not added colored laptops to their lineup. Especially with pink being such a huge hit for other companies. But until they decide to add colors (surely they must at some point, right?), those of us who simply must have a pink Apple Mac Laptop are left with a few options: customize, add a skin or a case.

Now that you have that fabulous pink laptop, it’s time for a matching bag so you can carry it around in style! Mango Tango has a whole bunch of great-looking, stylish laptop bags.
